Daniel D. Regan’s practice focuses on civil, criminal and administrative litigation. He has acted as lead and co counsel on cases before many courts of the Commonwealth, and the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Caputo & Caputo, Dan served as an Assistant District Attorney for Allegheny County. During his tenure with the Office of the District Attorney, Dan prosecuted numerous cases before the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas as well as the County Grand Jury.
Before serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Dan served as a law clerk to the late John P. Hester, Senior Judge of The Superior Court of Pennsylvania, where he drafted judicial opinions for both civil and criminal appeals.
Born and raised on Pittsburgh’s North Side, Dan obtained his bachelor’s degree from New York University, where he received Dean’s List honors and was a member of the men’s varsity basketball team. He graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was awarded the Charles H. Revson Law Student Public Interest Fellowship, serving his Fellowship with the New York State Office of the Attorney General Bureau of Investor Protection and Securities. Dan is admitted to the Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey Bars, and is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
